#48 inspired by ice cream

Well, we are still sitting here patiently (or not so patiently) for summer, although blue skies were spotted briefly today ;-)

And in an attempt to get us in the mood here, I asked you to be inspired by ice-cream.

I had a few ideas and really wanted to create a layout with ice-cream colours. Then I remembered I had some photos of the first ice-cream of the season from a year or so ago but I had run out of printer ink (grrr). Then I lost an hour looking through photos I already had. And so on and so on until I decided to use an old photo of me and my sister but I needed to turn it into black and white so that I could get it printed (double grrr). I thought I would probably change out the photo but looking at how it turned out, I will no doubt lave it. It kind of adds to the retro feel of the layout.

Anyway, to cut a long story short!
